White Glue Carpentry started with a simple frustration: most furniture is built to be replaced. We wanted to build pieces that get handed down instead — solid wood, real joinery, no shortcuts.

Today every commission still runs through the same small workshop, cut and assembled by hand, one piece at a time. No factories, no laminate, no catalog to pick from.

We work with homeowners across the Portland area who want something specific — a table that fits an odd-shaped nook, a bed frame sized for a growing family, a bookcase that goes wall to wall.
